The California PBIS Coalition (CPC) initiated the first state-wide effort in 2015 to implement a recognition system to acknowledge California schools for implementing PBIS. Partners In Learning, on behalf of CPC, created and developed the original award designs in 2015.

Each year select K-12 schools receive Statewide Recognition for implementing PBIS with fidelity to the national framework. Recognition is awarded based on criteria linked to the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) at the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Levels. Year-after-year, we offer California School Districts a selection of visual options and custom designed wall graphics to proudly commemorate and celebrate state- wide achievement among the district’s selected award winners.
